Since 1998, the Real Maestranza has held an annual ceremony in which it recognises academic excellence in local students planning to go on to university studies as well as in those students who have graduated. The aim of promoting their future.
The annual call for university grants begins once the grades for the university entrance exams have been announced. The university award is given at the end of the academic year. The prize-giving ceremony is one of the most important events in the institution’s calendar of activities and is chaired by prominent personalities from political, academic and cultural life.
