The room offers a historical tour of the institution from the
age of chivalry in medieval times to the present.
Through three audiovisual projections, four panels illustrated with texts and images, showcases with objects and documents, and two specially commissioned works designed to illustrate the historical narrative (a sculptural montage and a model of the city of Ronda in 1785), we tell the story of how a group of knights trained for combat, heirs to the chivalry that was forged in Europe in the Middle Ages, receive a special privilege from the Crown to build a bullring and later transform themselves into a modern cultural institution.
